■Ingredients (easy to make)
1 or 2 fresh burdocks (150g)
1/2 onion (fresh onion if available)
(A) 3 tablespoons each of thick sesame oil (or salad oil) and vinegar
(2 tablespoons honey
(4 teaspoons soy sauce
■Directions
【1】Chop burdock root into 4 cm lengths and onion into bite-sized pieces.
【2】Boil 1 cup of water in a pot, add a pinch of salt (not included in the quantity), and add the burdock root.
Boil over low heat with the lid on for 7 to 8 minutes until tender.
