Fujino’s warmed tofu over rice with starchy amber sauce
[Ingredients] served for 2
2 packs of “juten” tofu (150g or 5 1/4 oz each)
Our “juten” or filled-up tofu is made from soymilk that is poured and packed in a container, (instead that firmed tofu is cut and packed in a container with water) and this kind of tofu can be warmed in boiled water.
300cc (10 oz) water
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp mirin (sweet cooking wine)
katakuriko starch with water
salted kelp, chopped leeks
grated ginger as you like
